Size of Backup increases rapidly because of image size

Hy,
first of all thank you for this great app. This is more a feature request than an issue. So since I use the app on a regular basis and I always use the feature of taking pictures (12MB each) of my score, the backup becomes very fast very large (>>1GB). I wonder if it is possible to reduce the size of the images directly within the app. At the moment I unpack the backup at my notebook resize all images to a maximum size of 1024px and than play things back. Thanks in advance.
