We are trying to align GO CC better with CARO, but in looking at the CARO terms found that CARO:0001010 'organism or virus or viroid' is classified as a BFO:0000040 'material entity' rather than a CARO:0030000 'biological entity'.
The definition of CARO:0030000 is:
Entity that is, is part of, or derived from an organism, virus, or viroid or a collection of them.
So it seems that CARO:0001010 'organism or virus or viroid' should be a child of CARO:0030000, rather than BFO:0000040 'material entity'.
