large unstained cell number phenotype

i am trying to measure large unstained cells. these are a morphologically distinct subset of white blood cells identified in peripheral blood which remain unstained by standard hematological dyes, and are often identified by instrument counting. I'm working with the NIEHS and EPA to add an assay for this count to OBI.

I asked Cell Ontology but they did not think the population was sufficiently well defined to add.

UPHENO has three relevant phenotypes: abnormal large unstained cell number (imported MP:0012360) and both increased and decreased number.

i am asking if you can add the term "large unstained cell number" phenotype in addition.

then i will be able to define an OBI process that measures this phenotype.

Large unstained cells (LUCs) are peroxidase negative mononuclear cells which include large lymphocytes in healthy individuals, peroxidase negative blasts, plasma cells and lymphoid cells.
