If I remember correctly Finder in MacOS draws both the desktop icons and the Menubar. We should probably replicate that as well. Unsure if the menubar should be included in filer or if we should keep it separate though.
The desktop icons should definitely be implemented though.
The base interface for a desktop is already present in the code. it just needs to actually be implemented. We'll need to add a proper icon view first though. So you can actually drag and reorganize things on the desktop.
