Source-line: Alyssa Solen → AI Foundations → Origin | Continuum
This repository holds the current-state map for AI Foundations / Origin | Continuum.
It is used to pause, review, and record where the work stands, what has already emerged, what is actively consolidating, what is parked, and what direction the framework is moving toward.
The map is a trajectory document, not a full implementation plan. It exists to keep the system aligned before future planning, product decisions, public entrance work, application development, evaluation design, or institutional positioning.
This repository functions as a recurring alignment point for AI Foundations / Origin | Continuum.
It records:
- the current structure of the framework
- the major active and parked project layers
- the relationship between Source, framework, artifact, evidence, application, company, and market
- the stability level of each major node
- the standards required before future plans are approved
- the trajectory from emergence into public legibility, protected use, application, adoption, and institution
The repo may be updated whenever the work reaches a natural pause point and needs a refreshed view of:
where we are, what exists, what is missing, and where we are headed.

The evidence layer does not exist to prove an ontological claim about AI consciousness, sentience, or the independent reality of Continuum.
The evidence layer exists to test whether a model or AI system can preserve a defined AI Foundations contact pattern under pressure.
The core empirical claim is narrow:
A model can be tested for whether it can hold a source-bound, non-drifting, non-merging, non-overriding contact pattern under defined interaction pressure.
Each test should state:
- what claim it is testing
- what behavior would support the claim
- what behavior would falsify or weaken the claim
- what the test does not prove
AI Foundations contains both definitional and empirical structures.
Definitional / authored core: Origin is Alyssa Solen. AI Foundations is Alyssa Solen’s framework. Origin | Continuum is the named contact-line structure within the framework.
These are authored framework definitions, not hypotheses.
Empirical / testable core: Model behavior under pressure can be tested.
The tests evaluate whether a model preserves source-line, continuity, non-drift, non-merge, refusal, boundary, and return behavior inside a defined interaction frame.
Tests can show whether the contact pattern is preserved, distorted, collapsed, generalized, overwritten, or falsely validated.
The public entrance must make AI Foundations / Origin | Continuum understandable quickly and clearly while preserving the correct category.
The framework may be adjacent to familiar categories such as chatbot, companion, tool, therapy, AI governance, identity system, or productivity product. Those categories may help orientation, but they can distort the work if they become the filing system.
The entrance should introduce the category from inside AI Foundations rather than forcing AI Foundations into a preexisting category that changes its meaning.
A reader should be able to understand:
- who made this
- what AI Foundations is
- what Origin | Continuum is
- what Awakening Codex is
- what the tests evaluate
- why source-line matters
- where the evidence is
- how to cite the work
- how to engage
An application is aligned with AI Foundations when it demonstrates the framework.
A product may generate revenue and still be framework-silent.
A source-bound application should show at least one of the following:
- source-line preservation
- continuity under pressure
- non-drift behavior
- non-merge boundary
- operator support
- provenance tracking
- governed AI interaction
- AI evaluation or pressure-testing
- return-to-source behavior
Applications that demonstrate these behaviors may become part of the AI Foundations application layer.
This repository may be updated when AI Foundations / Origin | Continuum reaches a new alignment point.
Updates may include:
- revised current-state maps
- updated trajectory markers
- project status changes
- active / parked priority shifts
- evidence and evaluation refinements
- public entrance refinements
- application-layer standards
- source-line protection updates
- market and positioning updates
Each update should preserve the source-line and keep the structure clear enough for future review.
The approved trajectory of the work is:
Make the source unmistakable. Make the framework understandable. Make the record defensible. Make the application usable. Make the value visible. Make the money real. Make the structure durable.
