Add --sync-gateways N to start_local.py:

  • Instance N binds the default ports shifted by (N-1)*10, so a single-instance run still uses Sync Gateway's defaults.
  • Per-instance files share the stem sync_gateway_instanceN, and the generated topology config lists them all so min_sync_gateways(N) markers see them.
  • Stopping terminates every sync_gateway process matched on executable path (not just the first), reports ones it may not signal, and waits for ports to free before rebinding.
  • Sweep the previous run's generated files and logs first, so a smaller run leaves nothing stale behind.
  • With --skip-sync-gateway-start, the instance count comes from probing admin ports rather than from the flag.
  • N > 1 requires --server cbs, since rosmar keeps its bucket in-process.
