PneumaDocket

Maintenance docket & compliance workflow engine for industrial CMMS environments

Build Status Coverage Release License CMMS Integrations

What is this

PneumaDocket is a docket management and compliance tracking layer that sits on top of your existing CMMS stack. It handles work order routing, SLA escalation, insurer reporting, and — as of v2.7 — automated risk flagging on incoming maintenance tickets.

Originally built for a single Maximo deployment. Now supports 14 platforms. Honestly did not expect it to get this far.

Supported CMMS Integrations (14 platforms)

Platform Status Notes
IBM Maximo ✅ stable original target, battle-tested
SAP PM ✅ stable took forever, thx Renata
Infor EAM ✅ stable
eMaint X5 ✅ stable
Fiix CMMS ✅ stable
Hippo CMMS ✅ stable
UpKeep ✅ stable
Maintenance Connection ✅ stable
Asset Essentials (Dude Solutions) ✅ stable
Limble CMMS ✅ stable added in v2.6
Prometheus (custom) ✅ stable specific to Dalkia contract
MP2 / MP5 ⚠️ partial read-only for now, CR-2291
Fracttal One ⚠️ partial sync delays under investigation
ManagerPlus Lightning 🆕 new added v2.7.1, needs more field testing

If your CMMS isn't here, open an issue. No promises but we've added 6 new ones in the past year so.

New in v2.7.1

Insurer API Endpoints

Added dedicated REST endpoints for insurer-side integrations. These were being done ad hoc before which was a nightmare (sorry to everyone who had to deal with the webhook chaos in v2.5).

POST /api/v2/insurer/claim-events
GET  /api/v2/insurer/docket-status/:id
POST /api/v2/insurer/risk-report
GET  /api/v2/insurer/compliance-summary
PATCH /api/v2/insurer/policy-linkage/:docket_id

Auth is bearer token, scoped per insurer org. See /docs/insurer-api.md for payload schemas. The compliance-summary endpoint is new and still a bit rough — Tobias is working on the field normalization for ACORD stuff.

Risk Flagging

Work orders now get a risk score on ingest. The scoring logic runs against historical docket data, asset maintenance history, and a few regulatory checklists (OSHA 1910.147, NFPA 70E, client-specific rulesets).

It's not magic — it's a rules engine with some statistical weighting baked in from our historical data. But it catches about 73% of the high-severity escalations before they blow up, which is better than what we had (nothing).

Flags appear in the docket view and are also surfaced in the new /api/v2/insurer/risk-report endpoint.

{
  "docket_id": "DKT-28841",
  "risk_score": 0.82,
  "flags": ["lockout_tagout_gap", "overdue_inspection_chain"],
  "recommended_action": "escalate_to_tier2"
}

Risk thresholds are configurable per org in config/risk_thresholds.yml. Defaults are conservative — tune them for your environment.

Installation

npm install
cp config/default.env .env
# fill in your CMMS credentials, insurer API keys, etc.
npm run migrate
npm start

Needs Node 20+. Postgres 14+. Redis for the queue.

Configuration

Most things live in .env and config/. Important vars:

CMMS_ADAPTER=maximo # which adapter to load
DB_URL=postgres://...
REDIS_URL=redis://localhost:6379
INSURER_API_SECRET=...       # see docs/insurer-api.md
RISK_ENGINE_ENABLED=true
RISK_ENGINE_THRESHOLD=0.65 # flag anything above this

Docs

  • /docs/adapters/ — per-CMMS setup guides
  • /docs/insurer-api.md — insurer endpoint reference (updated for v2.7.1)
  • /docs/risk-flagging.md — how the risk engine works, how to tune it
  • /docs/compliance/ — OSHA/NFPA checklist mappings

API reference auto-generates at /api/docs when running in dev mode.

Contributing

PRs welcome. If you're adding a new CMMS adapter, copy the structure from src/adapters/limble/ — it's the cleanest one we have. Run npm test before submitting, coverage gate is at 80%.
